This position is responsible for reviewing staff and fee appraisals of commercial (and possibly some multi-family) properties that typically collateralize loans of $1,000,000 to $10,000,000. The majority of the properties requiring review appraisals are located in New York area. The review position assures that all appraisal work is conducted in accordance with internal policies/procedures, USPAP and FIRREA requirements. A Certified General License with a strong background in commercial valuation is required, including familiarity with the Argus discounted cash flow program. An MAI designation is preferred (not required).
